Located next to the Historic Strater Hotel at 7th St. and Main Ave. in Downtown Durango, Colorado, the world famous Diamond Circle Melodrama is a wonderful excursion back in time, to a bygone era of heroines, villains, and oh yes, the hero too.

Step into the theatre and feel the magic all around you. There's an excitement in the air, the curtain is rising and the show is about to begin!

The show is known as 'The Melodrama' but you get a lot more than just a professional, fast-paced, high-energy production.

You get beverages and popcorn served to you before the show and during the intermission by the very actresses and actors that may turn out to be the vilest villain or the sweetest ingenue on stage.

You will be entertained at the same time by your host with a hilarious brand of music and comedy routines. And when the curtain goes down on the Melodrama you can still look forward to the Vaudeville Revue with its singing, dancing and comedy routines which will tickle your funny bone and touch your heart.

The Diamond Circle Melodrama and Vaudeville Revue shows every night except Sundays. The doors open at 7:30 pm and the fun begins at 7:45 pm.
